NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER

When scriptures call for a national solemn assembly, the call to the elders is always at the forefront.
Joel 1 says,
Declare a holy fast; call a sacred assembly.
Summon the elders and all who live in the land
to the house of the Lord your God, and cry out to the Lord.
The prophet Joel repeats this call again in Joel 2:14
Blow the trumpet in Zion, declare a holy fast, call a sacred assembly.
Gather the people, consecrate the assembly;
bring together the elders, gather the children...
Your role in this national day of prayer is very important.
With this in mind, we extend a wholehearted welcome to you to join us in person. We also invite you to help us put the call out to "all who live in the land" by sharing the invitation with those you lead.
